Bring your horse on holiday

We offer guests staying in our self-catering log cabins the opportunity to bring their own horse, and take advantage of our wonderful hacking in this part of West Cumbria. Miles of bridleways, forests and coast to explore. Horses play a big part in life here, and we love to share the opportunity to bring your horse on holiday with you.

Windhall has 50 acres of grazing,  purpose-made stabling and an outdoor arena which, subject to availability, is available to book during your stay. On a Tuesday we have a highly qualified trainer here, and if there are spaces you can book time with her too. Find out more about stabling here.
