Terms and Conditions: 2026 Off-Peak Stay Giveaway at Windhall Lodges

  1. The Promoter

The promoter is Windhall Lodges of Berrylands Stud, located at Low Boonwood Farm, Gosforth, Seascale, United Kingdom, CA20 1EA

  1. Eligibility
  • The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
  • Employees of the Promoter, their family members, or anyone else connected with the giveaway are not permitted to enter.
  • There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
  1. How to Enter
  • The opening date for entries is January 17th 2026 at 12pm. The closing date for entries is February 1st 2026 at 8pm.
  • To enter, participants must follow the instructions on the official competition post on Facebook and Instagram
  • Only one standard entry per person is permitted, either on Facebook or Instagram. A bonus entry will be allocated if the competition post is shared to the entrant’s story, and @windhalllodges is tagged, so we can identify who has entered the extra time.
  1. The Prize
  • The prize consists of a 2-night stay for up to 4 adults at Ennerdale Log Cabin.
  • The stay must be taken during “Off-Peak” periods in 2026.
    • Off-Peak is defined as the following:
      • February 2nd to March 27th 2026
      • 14th September to 18th December 2026, excluding 23rd October to 31st October 2026.
  • The stay must start on a Monday, Wednesday or Friday, unless the Promoter agrees to make an exception (entirely at promoter discretion).
  • The prize is for accommodation only. Travel, meals, insurance, and personal expenses are not included.
  • The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other services.

NB: As per usual terms of staying at Windhall, children are not allowed to stay.

  1. Winner Selection and Notification
  • The winner will be chosen at random from all valid entries received.
  • The winner will be notified via Direct Message on the platform they entered within 5 days of the closing date.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner.
  1. Booking the Stay
  • Booking is subject to availability at the time of request. We recommend booking as far in advance as possible.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, it cannot be rescheduled unless agreed upon by the Promoter in writing.
  1. Data Protection
  • Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  1. General
  • The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation.
  • This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.
  • By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
